What is Hemp Heritage™ paper made from?
25% North American hemp and 75% post-consumer recycled fiber. No bleaches or dyes, ever. 100% bio-based, biodegradable, and compostable.
What does the paper look and feel like?
Off-white with dark flecks of real hemp fiber, in a vellum antique finish with a gentle tooth. The color is the paper itself; nothing is whitened or tinted.
What weights does it come in?
Two text weights and two cover weights: 60# text (89 gsm, 6 pt), 80# text (118 gsm, 8 pt), 70# cover (189 gsm, 12–14 pt), and 110# cover (327 gsm, 16–18 pt).
All weights come in 23" × 35" parent sheets. 110# cover also comes in 26" × 40".
Is it acid-free and archival?
Yes. Every sheet is acid-free, chlorine-free, and naturally buffered. Hemp's long fibers resist sunlight, heat, and damp better than tree paper, so your work lasts.
Can I run it through my printer?
Yes. The text weights are smooth enough for both inkjet and laser printers. For heavy coverage on cover weights, check your printer's gsm rating first.
Why hemp instead of trees?
Hemp is ready to harvest in 4 months; trees take 8 to 80 years. The same acre of land yields 4× more hemp paper. Hemp paper is 85% cellulose against tree paper's 30%, so it's stronger and can be recycled 7 times instead of 3.
Where is it made?
North America. The line is owned and run by Upcyx from Calgary, Alberta. The hemp is grown on North American farms and the paper is milled on hydroelectric power, keeping the footprint low and the supply chain local.

How much is shipping?
We ship worldwide where our carriers deliver. Rates are calculated live at checkout, and all pricing is in CAD. International customers may be responsible for import duties, customs charges, or destination-country taxes.
