Every Hemp Heritage™ sheet starts from the same recipe: 25% North American hemp and 75% post-consumer recycled fiber, with no bleaches or dyes. The off-white tone is the paper itself, and the dark flecks are real hemp fiber. Every sheet is acid-free, chlorine-free, and archival, so the work you make on it is made to last.
What changes from product to product is the weight, the finish, and the format. This guide walks through every paper, book, and pack we make, with the specs and what each one is good for.

A simple rule of thumb: the wetter or heavier the medium, the heavier the paper you want.
For sketching
Dry media need a sheet with enough tooth to hold pigment and enough weight to take an eraser.
Sketch Book

Good for: charcoal, pastel, pencil, and light wash, when you want loose sheets instead of a book.
For drawing and mixed media
The 70# sheet is the all-rounder: heavy enough for ink and gouache, with a light laid texture.

At 300 gsm this is the heaviest sheet we make, with a rough texture on both sides.

Good for: watercolour. The rough texture on both sides gives you two working surfaces.
For writing and journaling
Journal Book
- Paper: 60 sheets of 60# text (90 gsm)
- Ruling: College ruled on the front of each page, blank on the back
- Sizes: Medium 7" x 7" and Large 8.5" x 11"
- Build: Extra-heavy debossed chipboard cover, black wire binding
Good for: writing on one side and sketching or doodling on the other. It also takes pastels, charcoal, pencil, and light washes.
Letterpress Journal, Chrysanthemum
- Paper: 70 sheets of 24# (90 gsm)
- Ruling: College ruled on one side, blank on the back
- Size: 5.5" x 7.5"
- Build: Pattern letterpressed onto a thick recycled chipboard cover, black wire binding
Good for: daily notes and journaling, and as a gift.
For printing, cards, and the office
The text weights are smooth enough for both inkjet and laser printers. For heavy coverage on the cover weights, check your printer's gsm rating first.
Paper by the Ream
- Size: 8.5" x 11", natural white
- 60# text: 500 sheets, antique vellum finish, for stationery and flyers
- 80# text: 250 sheets, for presentation sheets, flyers, and projects that need a thicker text stock
- 70# cover: 250 sheets, for cards and business cards
- 110# cover: 125 sheets, antique finish, for business cards and packaging
Good for: printing in volume once you know which weight you need.
Mini Ream
- Size: 8.5" x 11", natural white, vellum antique finish
- 60# text (90 gsm): 250 sheets, for letterhead and general use
- 70# cover (190 gsm): 125 sheets, for cards, flyers, and art
Good for: trying the paper in your own printer before you buy a full ream.
Stationery Set
- Contents: 12 sheets of 8.5" x 11" paper and 10 #10 business envelopes
